The best way to start and finish an Upholstery project is to cram it all into one amazing weekend! Join me August 15 - 18, 2024 at The Newton of Ypsilanti, MI for an all inclusive Upholstery Retreat! Please see cancellation policy at the end of this description.
Participants will be treated to an intimate blissful weekend of non-stop upholstery fundamentals and chef prepared meals.
Your stay will include:
- Thursday night Meet & Greet
- Field trip to Discount Fabric Outlet and Habermans Fabrics.
- 4 Nights stay
- 24 hours (3 full 8 hour days) of Upholstery Fundamentals Classes
- Prepared Meals by Chef Allison Anastasio (Breakfast and dinner, lunch provided by local restaurants at the shop.)
- Monday morning send off.
- All upholstery materials except fabric (foam, batting, etc.)

We will be booking the ENTIRE Newton House for this weekend. There are 5 standard beds total. 4 Air mattresses / Cots will be available beyond the beds. The retreat is an intimate affair, so you will be sharing this space with all 8 guests. You will not have your own private room. Guests are welcome to share beds if they work it out with each other.
Because planning an event of this magnitude is costly, I will be upholding a very STRICT cancelation policy. See below.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancel before March 31: Receive 75% back ($1500)
- Cancel between April 1 - May 31: Receive 50% back ($1000)
- Cancel between June 1 - July 15: Receive 25% back ($500)
- Cancel after July 15, NO REFUND
